I love this photograph because I think it expresses the most unique aspect of photography - the ability to capture motion. On the camera's shutter control, this image represents 1/60th of one second. The sense of time in this picture is also defined by the length of the blurred lines and forms evident near the outer frame of the photograph.
I took this photo in 1993 during a two month journey around Europe. Almost twenty years and thousands of photos later, this is still one of my favorites.
